In 2008-2009, Patty Contreras faced a moment that would completely redefine her life.

A sudden health crisis placed her in the hospital for 84 days. What began as a medical emergency quickly became a season of uncertainty, reflection, and faith. During those long days, Patty witnessed something profound—how fragile life can be and how important it is to have the right people, the right support, and the right preparation when life takes unexpected turns.

Lying in that hospital bed, she began to see her work through a different lens.
